In addition, Damith provides a 360-degree view of available technology capabilities, informing strategically sound business decisions by the leadership team.
Prior to joining Loadsure, Damith served as 30dB CTO. There, he architected and built a highly scalable social sentiment engine that delivered real-time insight into both public opinion and what drives it.

His responsibilities spanned technology strategy and architecture; business plan development; management; reorganization; and funding of teams across IAC business units, the likes of Pronto, Mindspark, and Ask.com.
As IAC Applications' Vice President of Data, Damith took on broad responsibility for everything from shared data and information strategy to the website, search engine, and its underlying technologies.

“The insurance industry is ripe for innovation. When we look at the transactional insurance space, no one is doing what we’re doing; we can build whatever we can imagine. The potential for greenfield development excites me, and the opportunity to deliver liquidity to businesses when they’re most vulnerable, especially now in this time of COVID, is humbling.””

As CFO of Loadsure, Charlie optimizes the company’s global financial reporting and tax structure, and tracks KPIs to monitor performance in line with business strategic objectives. In conjunction with the leadership team, Charlie utilizes tools and builds financial models to provide bespoke scenario planning and forecasting to ensure effective business decisions can be made with confidence.

Ken Feinberg

EVP of legal & Compliance

Ken Feinberg Loadsure

An attorney, Ken brings to Loadsure 30+ years of deep private sector experience that spans both private law practice and in-house counsel for technology companies. Additionally, he’ll draw on his vast contact network to support business development.

Prior to his time at Loadsure, Ken was Senior Director for a global technology company in the transportation and logistics industry, where he headed up commercial legal and sales operations.

Ken graduated from Bowling Green State University with a degree in marketing and received his law degree from Case Western Reserve University.
In his downtime, Ken enjoys golf, playing (learning) the guitar, exercise, and, most importantly, eating pizza—a passion he even blogs about for his growing list of followers.

“The collective excitement, eagerness, innovation, and passion with an early-stage company at the forefront of a new and disruptive technology in an essential market is contagious. The team assembled at Loadsure is positioned to scale great heights and I am thrilled beyond words to be included.”

Jim Heide

COO & Co Founder

Jim Heide Loadsure

Jim draws upon his extensive transportation and technology industry experience to help steer Loadsure strategy and product development. Additionally, he drives sales and business development for the company. Before joining Loadsure, Jim served as 10-4 Systems’ Vice President of Administration, where he administered the company’s spin-off from its parent. His broad range of responsibilities included oversight and administration of sales, HR, procurement, and facilities. He was also responsible for contract negotiation with Fortune 500s, successfully closing business with global brands ranging from AB InBev and Amazon to JBS USA, General Electric, and Maersk. In addition, he played a key due diligence role in the company’s successful acquisition by Trimble.
Jim began his career with a small Denver-based warehousing and drayage company, Perry Transfer, which over the course of several mergers and acquisitions, became Exel and then DHL Supply Chain. His roles spanned operations, business development, and account management.
In his spare time, Jim is active in the Denver Transportation Club. He graduated with a degree in Business Administration and Management from Colorado Technical University.

“The opportunity to build a company from the ground-up has been one of the most satisfying experiences of my career. Where Loadsure goes from here is limited only by our imagination, and I’m excited to drive its growth, knowing that my work helps my supply chain peers not only protect their businesses but operate more efficiently and affordably, as well.”

Johnny McCord

CEO & Founder

Johnny McCord Loadsure

An insurtech innovator, Johnny’s digital-first approach delivers greater efficiency and effectiveness to the transportation insurance distribution chain. Having conceived of a fully-digital, end-to-end cargo insurance solution, his company now leverages automation and predictive analytics to expedite the flow of premiums and claims, while also reducing insurance costs.

Guided by Johnny’s visionary hand, Loadsure has become widely recognized as an innovative approach to serving volume transactional business and a path to new markets. In fact, Loadsure was the only Lloyd’s of London coverholder approved in 2019. It was also a Lloyd’s Lab 4th Cohort selection, runner-up for Insurance Insider’s 2020 Disruptor of the Year Award, and a 2021 FreightTech 100 honoree.

Johnny brings 18 years of cargo broking experience and a passion for entrepreneurship to the fore. Previously a cargo broker at Lochain Patrick and, before that, a founding member of Roanoake International, he grew books of business that included such impressive names as Macy’s, Volga-Dnepr, the Olympics, and Walt Disney.

Johnny is a board member of CSCMP UK.

At the end of the day, we’re committed to helping people. We’re putting automation to work for the freight industry—helping them protect their businesses and operate with greater agility, all while also cutting costs.”

Prior to joining the Loadsure team, Nathan served as VP - Broker Success at insurtech MGA, Corvus, where he was responsible for growing visibility of the company’s marine cargo and cyber liability insurance products and contributed to a $0-to-$100M annualized run rate in three years. Nathan launched his career in traditional insurance and insurance financing with Truist (formerly BB&T) AIG, Farmers, and Stillwater Insurance Group, where he’s driven sales across property, technology E&O, cyber liability, and cargo product lines.

“I think that MGAs, like Loadsure, are the future. They’re a way for traditional insurance carriers to access embedded insurance or new and innovative products without having to change the course that they’re on. They’re able to do it through partnerships, which allows them flexibility to access this market.
