“The insurance industry is ripe for innovation. When we look at the transactional insurance space, no one is doing what we’re doing; we can build whatever we can imagine. The potential for greenfield development excites me, and the opportunity to deliver liquidity to businesses when they’re most vulnerable, especially now in this time of COVID, is humbling.””

Charlie received his training at Deloitte, working in the London insurance market, advising insurers and brokers on financial reporting, taxation, and internal control processes. After leaving practice, Charlie worked as a finance leader in scaling VC-backed and listed technology companies.
As CFO of Loadsure, Charlie optimizes the company’s global financial reporting and tax structure, and tracks KPIs to monitor performance in line with business strategic objectives. In conjunction with the leadership team, Charlie utilizes tools and builds financial models to provide bespoke scenario planning and forecasting to ensure effective business decisions can be made with confidence.
Charlie is Founder of Cutting Edge Finance, which provides accountancy and consultancy services to scaling businesses in the Insurtech space, helping them efficiently allocate their capital and realize their potential.

“The opportunity to build a company from the ground-up has been one of the most satisfying experiences of my career. Where Loadsure goes from here is limited only by our imagination, and I’m excited to drive its growth, knowing that my work helps my supply chain peers not only protect their businesses but operate more efficiently and affordably, as well.”
